Ok I got this a while back but don't know what it is but that fits me because it collect odd and old
Tools but would like to know what it is and how it works also it is made from aluminum

I think oldtools has it, I seem to remember that being a telco tool for wrapping the cable strands on guy cable after feeding it through a thimble (sort of like braiding the end of a rope so it won't unravel)
