Title: what's it used for?

Anyone have an idea what this is used for? I'm assuming some sort of pry bar, but for what? Measures 21" long

Originally for Ford V8 , removes valve and guide assemblyy.
I believe it will work on Cad/Lasalle flathead V8 also.
