I work in remote parts of Australia at times, I find in small towns there is almost always a museum. I also find these are run by a small band of volunteers and are usually without any cash to improve the museum at all.
These people set up a museum and in come the donations, nothing gets restored, it's just stored.
Anyway when I'm away I work 12 hour shifts 6 day weeks, so on my one day off I go looking for these places. You may like the photos I took of the last one I visited.
