Found this the other day. made by the Newton Mfg. Co. Plainfield, CT. Looks like a small tubing shaper are something to do with wire or small rope. Any idea??
-
For hydraulic brake pipes??

I don't think it is a pipe or tube bender. By the way the straight leg is reinforced, I am guessing it is pushing against something while the bent leg holds on.
My guess is some kind of wrench for a union lug nut of some kind.

Could it be a front-end alignment tool?

I'll guess it's for a packing nut , inside a tube.

Just found an image of s similar tool - used to tighten loosen a DSP type hose connector,
see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DSP_coupling
