So my mother thinks its a waste of time, and my sister thinks I am a waste of space.
The wife hardly notices anymore.
But, here is the latest. I did this one and am doing another.
I always knew/wanted a hex handle. I figured it was possible, but this was the first time I ever pulled it off. Fits in your hand like a dream.
This one is black walnut. If you are planning on doing one, especially your first, I recommend walnut. It is about the most forgiving wood there is for this work

A pleasure to view your work Mr. Artist.

The little 4" German one that lives in my pocket is hex, but doesn't look like it would lend itself to that pattern.

Very nice I like great job

Pretty! You ought to do a little picture tutorial on how you did that.

Scott, that would be tough on a mill, more so with free hand grinding, and filing. What did you put on the surface to keep it shiny?

WOW!!! you got talent!!
