Title: I went shopping,
Post by: john k on March 28, 2014, 09:05:29 PM
I found my way into the local pawn again.  I start at the bottom with the dollar a piece boxes of chrome goods.   I thought I spotted a Fuller wrench, but it turned out to be a SEARS, in unused condition.  Dug to the bottom and found 3 more, all unused.  Then came up with a Plvmb, war-finish cbe, a Par-X chrome 9/16, and a Wilde, from K.C. MO, before this I thought of Wilde as an excellent pliers manufacturer.   Shifted to another dollar box and came out with a good old screwdriver, wood handle, and a small pair of Barcalo pliers.    Then a wrapped bag of screws, tiny ones, at least 100 in there, for a buck too.  Brightened my lunch hour dramatically.  Is there another Wilde wrench in the house?   Or a war-finish wrench?  Ok, more pictures to follow.

I have 3 or 4 Shaw wrenches that I found in a resale shop a while back. Shaw was an Ohio company and this style is WWII production.  Probably for Jeep. I think that they were both in Toledo.
