I have seen those ratchets before. Maybe on one of these forums.
Wow!! That is a beauty!!
Don't think I have ever saw one before. They look good thoe.
That looks like a Quik Clean ratchet. Stanley-made, from the 80's I believe.

that's what I think it is.
I believe the "EE" series is indeed Stanley made.
Lauver would know for sure.
I have one of those. I'll dig it out.
Is there one on the ratchet thread yet?

The guts are shown in the ratchet thread.
The idea was by pushing in hard on a release button, the gear assembly pops out quick and easy for cleaning. Nice idea, but the head is kinda big for the drive size. I had a 1/4", but it was just too big a head.
Bonneyman is correct. It is a quick takedown model.
I have all 3 sizes. Nice tooth count also.
I have heard that they were discontinued because of strength problems.
I don't use them, as I prefer others to use on a daily basis.
They are rare these days to find "out there" at garage sales and "flea markets.
Thanks all. he other one I found on Ebay wanted $40 BIN and I'll spend some omoney on other stuff for that.......

Gang,
These Craftsman/Stanley made ratchets are not uncommon, and certainly not rare. I have a few of them in 1/4 drive. I've past up many of them.
The Quick Clean models were sold for several years at the tail end of Stanley era at Sears. These quick Clean ratchets were just a minor change from the earlier Crafty Tri-Wing ratchets that were also made my Stanley. The most interesting aspect of these ratchets is that Stanley Works got hauled to court by the FTC for misrepresenting the COO.
