Bought an old froze up Acme wrench Fri and these were in the flat. What are they used for?
The pair with the holes in both jaws will grip a wire if in full open position. Don,t know if they grip tightly enough to allow any particular use'
The long pair have an interesting recess in both jaws. Almost look like a thread in first half inch and then just a smooth recess.
I really need to have a usage for these as I have $2 invested and I,m not sure the Acme will free up.

Dang, I have no idea.

The shape and way it was made on the bottom one says chemistry lab tool to me, perhaps for spreading filter paper or some such thing?
Top, hmm, one of the many variations on pliers for twisting safety wire through nuts?
Shootin from the hip here...

For the top one, look at patent no. ( http://www.datamp.org/patents/displayPatent.php?number=445834&typeCode=0 ) 445,834 & see if your "reverse action" pliers matches that style of wire hose clamp tightener.

Looks like a distinct possibility as a hose clamp tool.

But when you enjoy the work, need to deduct the therapy cost you saved...

And we do it again and again.
Its gotten worse - we buy a $2.00 wrench and pay $12.00 to ship it to us. Saved the fuel!
