Title: estate sale 5.00 box
Post by: Diesel on June 14, 2014, 04:30:44 PM
I thought I would share the 5.00 box of tools I got at an estate sale today. Any help from you guys on the make, rarity, value etc.. of any of these tools would be of a great help. Suggestions on what to keep on my collection I am starting would be great also.

For a 5 that was a steal.  From what I see, the file handle at top, probably dates before 1920, have 2 of them.   The pics are quite small.  And get blurry when I tried to enlarge them.  Photos can be posted clear up to 250K.

Yes, post better photos.

Nice find, looks like some parrot head pliers? That clamp looks interesting...

For your collection, keep anything you don't have and anything that is better than what you already have. Find a direction for your collection and follow that path. Get every box like the one you did today, even if you can't use it directly you will have a lot of swapping currency.
