Title: What is this Craftsman tool set?
Post by: TheBigTool on July 23, 2014, 07:38:09 PM: I picked it up for $5 at an estate sale and cannot find any information on it. It has the Craftsman name on the very nicely finished metal box and on the 2 shafts and no other markings or part numbers. The round end pieces that snap onto the ends of the shafts are marked in sizes from 9/16" up to 1 1/4". I thought it was some kind of punch set but cannot figure it out. Any thoughts?

Much better than trying to find just the right socket to smack with your hammer.

Post by: EVILDR235 on July 23, 2014, 09:41:14 PM: Years ago while working on a 429 Ford engine i found a little suprise on the motor.I had the engine on my work bench when i noticed a large Proto socket stuck in a freeze plug on the side of the block.
