Somebody is going to be upset you put that rusty old thing on the bed spread. Not sure what that one is.

I've seen similar in the repair / maintenance tool kits of lawn sprinkler servicers  ( Lawn sprinklers of the pop-up "rain bird"  type  that drop down into a plastic "funnel." )   In our part of the country these have all been replaced by much slimmer "fixed pattern" pop-up spray heads.

you might be on to something, see my dad has Alzheimer's and can't remember what it is, but he does have a sprinkler system he put in the front yard years and years ago, WOW thanks for this post it may help
