While bargaining to buy an old Rockwell Delta Milwaukee jointer, the seller through in these 3.
The wood handled one is only marked with an 8 forged into the threaded part of the moveable jaw.

The top one (second photo) is marked U  S   KRAEUTER & DO. INC. Newark, NJ  Pat. Pend.  It is identified in AA as a fence cutter made for the Military in WWI.

The other is a cable cutter marked UP-B4 in an oval & Patented on the reverse. The bolt head is marked U.S.A. & OFF with arrows to indicate left hand threads. No company mark. The Benner-Nawman Co. still sells a very similar design marked UP-B41.
