Bought a combination square Saturday, a nice one. It was in good shape, but it was the brand name logo that attracted me.
Barth written in script. Never saw it before. Can't find one like it on the web. But think it may be by Carl G. Barth, a Norwegian machinist/mathematician who devised a series of slide rules for machine tool fabrication.
Any ideas?

Barth is better known for being the fellow that worked with Taylor, the fellow that invented modern time and motion studies used to plan how people move things around in manufacturing plants, and what motions they have to go through to make something.
But Barth did make measuring tools.
