Title: "OWATONNA Tool Co." Wrench
Post by: lzenglish on September 04, 2011, 02:48:11 PM
Ok, I have an ugly betty wrench here, but It is my first one with this name. AA has some good info. on this company of the late 1920's, (as usual). This one is a 1-5/16", and with what looks like is a Cadium War finish on it! First time I had heard of "OTC", until yesterday when I found it. Anyone else have any of these, and if so, how do you rate them?

Thanks,

Wayne

OTC is a respected name and their quality is on par with their peers of the same vintage. Any kind of 'good, better, best' rating is too subjective and there are too many variables for me. I like them. How can you not like a tool named "Owatonna"??

Hmmm, you've got me thinkin' .... I don't like to do that too often!  But, I think I have an adjustable wrench of some sort from that company. I agree, a great name.. I'd date a gal with that name!!!!
