The Model T Tools are pretty simple and straight forward. Like the car, the tools for the Model A are a little more complex. These are the judging standards for tools from the Model A Ford Club of America.

As I read through the Model A Tools standards, I was surprised to see that unmarked Ford tools were OK. I thought that everything Ford shipped with a car was marked. I guess that a million cars a year was hard for the tool vendors to keep up with.

From mid 1928 to late 1931 the Ford script was not required on Ford tools.

To muddy the waters even more, the Fords produced into the 1930s and even the 40s had some similar tools in their sets. Plus there were the Ford tractors, that had much different tools. Just makes collecting Ford tools all the more fun.

Actually the only tool unique to the N series tractor tool kit was the plow wrench, all the other tools were also used in the cars.
The Fordson tractors had tools that were different than the car tools.
