Bought these at auction. Very ornate, only mark is "C H S" on handle. Any ideas?

Id say that Viper kind of seals the deal, as to what it is! Here is a good resource for collecting old saw sets, but I did not see yours in it. Welcome to the Site!

Thanks guys, I should have guessed saw set. This was in a box of wooden marking gauges I bought.
