1/2" drive socket sloted tool BOG mfg co. chicago usa
Waldon made in usa pat. app for,3" long body,with spring loaded rod,pushing on rod only sticks out a little as seen in photo?

Both are unusual and interesting and I have no idea what either one would be used for.

Isn't the Bog a radiator petcock or a wing nut socket?

the slots are about 1/8" wide

my memory is terrible so look in alloyartifacts but BOG was two brothers .  one started Western Auto and the other made wrenches for Western Auto to sell

Socket for installing screw hooks?
