Title: Continental engine wrench
Post by: jimwrench on July 11, 2015, 05:15:46 PM
Don't know what this wrench was for on a continental engine. Don't know if it was used on car, army vehicle or airplane. Colyear was evidently a jobber for Continental parts in San Fransisco area. Don't know why they cast their own wrench with their co. name on it. Sizes are 1 3/16 and 1 5/16. Usable wrench not a advertising gimmick. 1/2 thick on ends.

it pays to advertize ?

just like the tire iron/lug nut wrench combo's that we find with the auto dealers
name on them.
from around the early 1900's

many auto's used continental engines and industrial & ag equipment companys.
