Title: Some sort of Crimper?

Anyone know what this is, I cannot find any info at all. Obviously it is some sort of crimper. It has ratcheting action operated by cables. Made by Malco.

Looks like electrical terminal crimpers - they release when the terminal has been crimped to the the proper amount of crush but not before. But I didn't know Malco made electrical tools I usually think of rain gutter and downspout tools and maybe some plumbers stuff.
