Title: An L&N Whatsit
Post by: lebaron on August 04, 2015, 03:17:35 PM
Been looking at this thing for years and can't figure what it is. Lots of moving parts and peices. Marked L&N E.S. Any ideas.

That L & N hand stamp looks like it could be L & N Railroad.

I live in Louisville and have sold lots of L & N Railroad tools, they are always marked the same way either L & N or L & N RR in the same type of block letters.

Most all tools were made in the L & N shop and stamped just like that.

Once I found a super heavy duty spatula cooking utensil , and it was marked L & N RR I asked an old man that used to work at the L & N repair shop in Louisville and he said,    .... yea we made everything.

I don't know what the E S mark might be.

May not be L & N RR but looks like it could be.
