I just looked at MJD'S Thursday tool list and saw that the Boston quick adjust wrench sold for $2,185 at his auction the other week. Makes me think hard about selling mine. He claimed he never saw one for sale before.

You could buy a couple more miniatures then!

The Hilary Klein miniatures have dried up for the time being. Tough to find one I don't have.

I also saw that. Can hardly believe it. I have one and have sold a couple others. That is a crazy price.

There were several lots that went rather high because two guys wanted them. I left before this wrench sold so don't know what happened with it.
Overall I thought prices were high...of course that could be because I'm rather cheap.
There had to be over a hundred guys selling in the parking lot this year. There were some real good buys out there. Managed to snag a Hay-Budden 166 lb. anvil, a like new Columbian 3 1/2 in. jaw vise, and a 5 1/2 in. Wilton bullet vise with the swivel stationary jaw. First one of them that I've seen.
All in all a good time...even the wife enjoyed it.

From what Ive seen everything goes high at his sales. I cant buy anything from there. Ive bought one wrench in my life from there. An unmarked Remingtons patent buggy wheel wrench. When it arrived I discovered that the bolt on the top jaw had been cut off. I contacted them and they made it at least somewhat right. I think the outside swap meet has some bargains now and then. RustCollector has done good there.
