Title: spikes
Post by: Edkat3 on September 25, 2015, 03:25:54 PM
Any idea what this could have been used for. Very old, all blacksmith made. Spikes are too long and thin to be used on ice. Last loop is open to connect both sides.

Thanks to all the replies. I've seen different fruit/veggie dryers over time and they were always built like a rigid type rack with spikes, never saw one hinged. Mystery solved on this one. Check the link, I would have never guessed this but it makes perfect sense. http://web.quipo.it/pastoriabruzzesi/collar.htm
