eddie, or anybody else, is this a rare wrench? I've never seen one before.

They don't show up every day, but I would not rate them highly rare.
Incidently, it's not automotive, it is for fixing your windmill...

It's also listed in Fence Tool Books. Quite a few around. A good one should bring around $35. Smith's Fence Tool Book lists it at $50.
