Title: Can U Make Out These #'s
Post by: HeelSpur on November 16, 2015, 02:39:11 PM
I believe the first one is a 2 and the second a 3 or 8.

It has 6 different sizes, 1 1/8 x 15/16, 7/8 x 13/16, and the sq. hole is 5/8 x 1/2.

Sometimes when you shine a light across old numbers you can get a different "take" on them.  Try shining a flashlight across it at different angles.

Looks like a IHC 256 with embossed number and no logo. I can't read the number but the shape gives it away.

Thanks, it does look like the tail of the 6 was knocked down besides the loop.

Heres a photo of two 256's I found hiding in my basement. Numbers are fairly legible in the top one.
