Title: adjustable pipe wrench

I'm guessing that "ring" on it isn't original. But, does anyone know who made this...... it's about time I ask about a wrench, isn't it!!!

I think that the thumb adjusting nut was put on backwards.

Does that pipe wrench lock like vise grips?
