Title: yes, they are nippers but what's the right name?

no brand name on these nippers

but they are are an odd design to me

whats the correct nomenclature?

yeah, but these are angled, many of the end nippers I see are 90 deg to the handles.

They are the first angled ones I have seen.

Bernard No 177 is a similar configuration and are labeled as diagonal nippers.
