It's the only one like I have, the rings don't ring any bells for me, but I know there are many on here much more knowledgeable than I on tools. I'm putting these with the old pedal and treadle tools. This screwdriver I had been using to open paint cans, good thing I'm not sloppy with paint or it would be a mess.
So who made it? and the era? Wood is soft... or just feels light as compared to other things that sized.

Nice looking ferrule and knob! Wouldn't it be cool to have a set of those!
I don't use anything quite that classy for paint and stain lids.
Just a little old all-steel driver that probably came with a sewing machine. I like it because it has a flat handle and a huge hole for hanging on the peg board.

I have some "can openers" that are getting used now. See you guys are converting me! starting to look at every wrench, screwdriver, hammer. All this junque I have bought over the years is my retirement fun!

I know this is a no-fun answer, but my hardware store pretty well gives away paint can openers. I must have ten.
