It will be easier to guess if I did post these before (I did a search nothing showed) I moved them yesterday and hmmm took pics.
So what do you think they are? I'm getting better inside read stick rule for reference and a even background.

I have the same tool hanging on my display board.
I thought I posted it here a few years ago.
I believe it's to pull a retainer from a shaft. The jaws on mine are tapered to fit close.
I think it's for a specific purpose because it has the wrench punched in the handle.
Probably a production tool?
I haven't seen another until your photo.

I have it as a auto service specialty tool. (don't want to give it away)
-
to me, it looks like a battery cable lifter.
what size is the wrench ? same as a battery cable nut ?
just my 2 cent guess.
-
Battery terminal puller? What size is the wrench in the handle? The shape of the arms is a lot like battery terminal pullers.
Al
turnnut posted as I was typing this!

bingo! we have winners! the wrench is 1/2" for those nuts on the terminals.
-
Ha , way to obvious! I.ve pulled many battery cables , but I guess I was over thinking this one.
Thanks for the ID
It's a service tool , not a production tool.
Would be nice to know the maker , they weren't proud enough to put their name on it.

I will have to look at them, no "big letters" but might be a logo or makers' mark?
