Hello, I brought this home today, it had such a great look I could not leave it at the market. Similar in function to a Stanley 100, or Marsh Mitre Machine. The piece in the center is the saw guide. I tried to find info on the maker, with no luck. It has in raised letters what looks like NOBBIES PATENT. i am not sure about the first letter, could an N, H, or M. Appears to be a very well made tool, I would love to put the correct saw with it. Thanks, Lou P.S. More to follow!!!!!!!!!

Oh, that one's tasty!
It was probably designed to accept about any small backsaw.

any small back saw, but I've found those thin Jap saws actually work quite well in one
