1930, I think you might recognize the wood group, unless I forgot who donated them to Tool Talk last year.

Ok, put me in. I don't know what I would do with the woodworking stuff, but those "addergatter" (my daughter used to pronounce alligator like this!) wrenches sure do look purdy!!

I won, I won, I won!

Mr. Parker: It's a Major Award!
Swede: Shucks, I wouldn't know that. It looks like a lamp.
Mr. Parker: What is a lamp, you nincompoop? It's a Major Award. I won it!
Swede: Damn, hell, you say won it?
Mr. Parker: Yeah, mind power, Swede; mind power.

THANKS PAPAW!

A good beer, Spanish guitar music, and a new passel of tools to play with...  Life doesn't get much better.  Papaw, the postal person just delivered all the stuff, and it arrived in great condition.  I'm wondering if the pieces will fit the plane body I recently picked up.  No matter if it doesn't, since I have a box of pieces/parts for other planes, and it's bound to fit something.    Ditto the block plane cap.  I'm thinking the augur will fit my boring machine (at last a good augur bit for that!).  I have a real fondness for the firmer chisel, and if I don't have a handle, I have a lathe.  Ditto the Hudson 1/2 inch socket.
Dang but that was fast!  I feel like a kid on Christmas morning!
