this one baffled me for a few minutes, until I turned it upside down.

Hey, that's pretty clever - nice and simple, as long as you can grab the nail head.

I was at the ReStore t'other day, and had the pleasure of explaining a slide hammer nail puller to someone.  Great demo tools, if you're not into sawzalls; but, like sawzalls, they sure leave the wood a mess.
