Hi everybody. I'm back--actually I never left. I check in from time to time but haven't had anything new to share until now.
I spent the last year or so making jewelry to pay the rent; that stuff really sells.
But I have returned to what I really love doing--building miniature tools.
My latest is a miniature version of an old Knowles Fancy Plane. Below is a link to my YouTube video.
I tried to post a still picture here, but seem to have forgotten how to do it. Can somebody remind me. Ralph

Nice curlies!
Assume you had some sort of flux on there for soldering. Really nicely done. I'm not sure i have the patience or skill to do all that.
Art, Glad to see you are making miniature tools again. Another great effort on a rare plane.
Thanks, Papaw. I think I got the picture on now.
Thanks, p_toad. Yes, I should have mentioned that I used plenty of well applied flux on very clean surfaces.
Hi, Les. Thanks again. This is certainly more fun and gratifying than making jewelry.
Amazing. Thanks for sharing the video!
Glad to see you positing.
As before great work.
Have you ever tried making a minuture ratchet? Not sure how small it could get but would be cool I think.
