My grandfather and father were both aerospace mechanics, in Columbus Ohio, who worked for North American Aviation, and ultimately North American Rockwell. Being the only son, I became the owner of my fathers tools when he passed away. I have been cleaning and sorting tool box after tool box every evening for the last couple weeks. I've learned a lot already and look forward to learning much much more on here!
Thanks

Welcome Bill, Jump in and join the fun. We love to see pictures of your finds and we enjoy a challenge to figure out the whatsits. Pictures have to be resized to smaller files in order to post. You can find that info on hear.

Welcome to Tool Talk!
Have fun sorting the tools and learning about them. We have folks here that are ready and willing to help ID them.

Welcome, and being the recipient of my fathers tools, can sympathize with you. Are they mechanics only?

Welcome aboard.
Just make sure you keep them all nice and clean since most of us can smell rust from miles away and you might wake up one morning and find a herd of rust-hunters out side the door (like zombies...only worse) :embarrassed:

They are mechanics tools, for the most part. There are a few farm tools also.

Welcome Bill, good to have you aboard!

Hi Bill, welcome from Florida. Don't be afraid to ask questions, there is a lot of knowledge among this group and it is freely shared.
