Title: Miller's vehicle Wrench
Post by: GaryD on January 24, 2017, 11:33:07 AM
Here are a couple of old wrenches I picked up at a tag sale.  The K232 wrench I am guessing may be a Kingman Plow company. Some sort of horse drawn farm equipment maybe?  The Miller's vehicle wrench is stamped Jan 27 1891.  There appears to be a type of ratchet wrench with that pat date also (made by Miller's).  I am guessing the "vehicle" must have been a buggy or wagon  based on the time frame.  Anyone know any more about these?

DATAMP entry for patent #445,451 (http://datamp.org/patents/displayPatent.php?number=445451&typeCode=0 ) tells part of the MILLER'S VEHICLE WRENCH story.
Pg. 3 of the Sept. 1991 MVWC Newsletter has a very informative  "new product writeup" from Dec. 1891 -- (https://www.flickr.com/photos/mvwcnews/31668295984 ) is a copy edited from that and published in FLICKR.
