Title: Whos's it - machete logo
Post by: RedVise on March 09, 2017, 07:03:57 PM
So, it's a tool, right ??!!
Not much to work with here, but does anyone recognize the logo on this machete ?
I tried chalk, and oil to no avail, still cant make it out.
Hoping someone just "knows" the logo design!

Blown up, possibly there is a horse with his tail in the air ??  I check Heller, didnt find a match.
20" blade, 6" handle.

Any help is appreciated, Thanks.

Brian
<for some reason, I now find myself owning 3 machetes. That didnt take long.>

It's a bit of a stretch, but can you make it be a Collins Legitimus. An arm and maybe the crown?

Collins made a lot of machetes but in your case...who knows?

Possibly Ausonia, Italian knife & blade maker. Does it look like a lion's head on the left side, with a tail on the right? More like a mythical animal? Regards, Lou

I got a Legitimus hatchet and the logo doesnt match, plus the Collins machetes mostly seemed to be stamped right above the handle.

thanks Brian
