Title: unmarked 1/4" drive ratchet
Post by: lptools on March 18, 2017, 06:01:07 PM
Hello, I hope that I have not posted this before. This is a 1/4" Drive Ratchet, no markings, single screw on cover plate, shifter knob closer to the top of the head. Overall length is 5". Thanks, Lou

If it's a true 1/4", wouldn't it be an unmarked Plomb WF-8S?

I don't know why Plomb made some of those ratchets without a name. Being WWII era stuff maybe it was to confuse the Nazi's. I just got a unmarked one in 9/32 drive. I believe I have that style of Plomb in 1/4, 9/32, 3/8 and 1/2 drive sizes all unmarked. Did Plomb ever make a 3/4 or 1 inch in that style of ratchet ?

Hello, Northwoods. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I looked at AA, this sure looks like a Plomb WF-8 S 1/4" Drive Ratchet. I looked agin for markings, nothing found. Thanks again, Lou

Never heard of one.
I would like to get ahold of a 1/2" Proto in that. Style. They do exist.
