It was at the bottom of a nice old dovetailed box with 3 or 4 other implement wrenches and some other barn junk. I don't think anyone else saw it but of course the auctioneer helper holder upper guy HAD to pull out each wrench. He fumbled around with this one and yelled out John Deere to the crowd. Bidding went up but stopped at a reasonable price so I'm still happy. I don't have one so I think I will add it to the tool collection. Here it is after I cleaned it up a bit.
Now you need a old tractor to use it on!!!

Dont you hate it when you think you are the only smart guy at the auction, and you find out you are wrong?
I spent 7 hours Saturday watching birdhouses and Nascar stuff go, so I could sneak a few farm things out at the end.

That is what happened to me the other week. Waited all day for some cast iron implement seats to sell, the one I really wanted went to another guy for $560! I did get a few cheaper ones.
