got from a yard sale or swap meet in a box of tools probably 10 years ago and ive asked anybody that i thought might know and havent got a answer as to what its for. the only thing thats been suggested is its some type of leather punch but that was just a guess.
i assume its for hand use and the little grip on the knob is for turning but doesnt seem like you can get enough grip to spin through leather.. ideas?
its 2 pieces. the inner piece with the knob on the end and has a groove in the center that uses a set screw to lock it in the outer piece but allows for it to spin. both have some sharp teeth on the ends
( i cant find it at the moment so using the only pic i have)

Power? Did you say Power?
The thought of sticking an electric gadget up my rhino hole turns me off!

Or you could get one of these manual ones and chuck it up in your cordless drill. Just saying....

ok, I give in, I will add my 2 cents worth tonight.
keep it in your pocket, and if you are at a mall or fast food joint and see someone with a ring in their nose
put your trimmer in your nose hooked to a hair and say hello to them.
