Title: Hawkeye
Post by: Hoarder on May 08, 2017, 08:21:57 PM
Another inherited tool from my Grandfather. Pulling it from the tool box I thought WTH is this! An internet search provided answers. The only things I find different from what I've seen on line is the markings and locations. The opposite side has Pat No. 720554 on one side and Pat's pending on the other. Is there a way date by different markings?

Check out the link to DATAMP below for some info on your wrench. If you want more info click on the google patents hyperlink and you can download the actual patent.

Thanks Mike very interesting link in it shows the variants. I guess they were all produced from the same patent unless Pat pending means another patent was applied for.

I have one that looks just like yours, only it has a screwdriver blade protruding off the end of one jaw. (Which must have been awkward as all h*ll to use.)
