Title: Surface Marking Guage Brand Name

Found this at the weekend, cleaned up really nice but I cant find a brand name - does anyone have an idea ?

As well made and stylish as that one is I wouldn't be surprised if it was shop made for the maker.

Shop made ? I never thought of that, (the base is a casting). I looked all over it expecting to find a brand name like Moore and Wright.

Just for grins, though I'm sure you would have mentioned it if relavant, what is the text on the vertical bar under the center dial?

It someones initials, not a brand name.
