Was in the shop tonight, scrounged thru my old tool box there, came up with a handful of 3/8 and 1/2in. drive ratchets. On the left is a Craftsman ratchet, with push thru reverser, is riveted together. May be from my dads 1947 set? Next is the Williams&Co. "Superratchet" wearing what looks like a wartime zinc finish. Then a pair of 3/8, the first a Craftsman, then a Husky, identical. The Craftsman does display a small H in a circle. Then a SnapOn, I fished out of a junk box at a flea. Is stamped Ferret F-70N, any comments on this batch, curious about the ages.

The F70N was made mid 30's to mid 40's. There should be a date code between the ON and Off markings by the selector switch.
The date code markings can be identified on the date code chart at the Collecting Snap on site http://collectingsnapon.com/Data_Chart/Date%20Chart.html (http://collectingsnapon.com/Data_Chart/Date%20Chart.html)
