I am sorry that I have not taken pictures yet, but I picked up a Plomb pebble DOE wrench with one side pebble and the other side smooth. Does anyone know if this variation is common or is it something that came home in a lunchbox?

It wouldn't be the first time I was wrong but I don't think so. I can't remember ever seeing or hearing of one anyway.
I am quite curious and looking forward to the pics.

Yes, pics please!

Curious
Certainly die halves would be kept together. A mix-up seems highly unlikely.
There doesn't seem to be a reason why the pebble finish would have been tried out on one side only.
I wonder as well if this was some sort of lunch-pail special.
Has the wrench been plated as if it had been fully finished?

I am sorry, but I am not sure when I will be able to post pics. I have been really busy at work and I am going on a camping trip soon.
