Title: whats it,found in machinist tool box

tiny,3/16" dia.,taped on a 3" x 3" red cardboard,pilot seal disc b206-12,use for external pilot,.,.,found several in box,any ideas?,.,TIA

Possibly  a plug for either a hydraulic valve or an air valve. They were available either internally piloted or externally piloted. The plug would be inserted in an internal  orfice to make the conversion.
