Title: Vice ? can anyone I.D. This vice with no name ?

I think it says 1863/3 on the side and on the other side it says STEEL Its about 10" long.

Yes I think you could be correct looks like its 186B/3

Hello, Rustyric. Nice vise!!!!!!!!  Did it come with what looks like a dead spider in the jaws? Or were you trying to show how tightly they close? :-) Regards, Lou

Or was the spider merely showing off its acrobatic skills and get stuck?

The spider came with the vice free of charge. but know it hasnt got a leg to stand on !

Can't really tell if it had a swivel base?   Looks husky enough for daily use.
