Title: Montgomery Ward box
Post by: Northwoods on May 10, 2018, 01:25:43 PM
Came home with a little green tin tool box today.  4 1/2" by 7 1/2".   It has a dividing partition down the middle lengthways.
PART of a label remains on the inside of the lidIt has a red M over a red W with a yellow field between them and the letters _____IBILT
The partition doesn't seem suited for handling a row of small sockets.
Any thoughts?

The best part about getting a new/used tool box is looking for things to fill it up. A few weeks ago I got a small handmade tool box made out of 1/8 inch thick steel. I filled it up with tools I got at the Habitat Restore and then stuck it on the base of my portable bench grinder stand to keep it from dancing around the garage every time I use it.

I wonder if anyone has MW catalogs online.  Sounds like a neat box.

I have a Montgomery Ward catalog, circa 1972.

I need to get it out of the attic. Then I'll send pics if it's close.
