Some of you may remember this, it's been a long time but it's running now.

The rest of the story,
With a lot of discussion with other smaller vintage machinery owners/operators I believe this machine was prolly marketed by Sears, Montgomery Wards or other catalog house in the early 20th century. It's truly "Craftsman" built! There's still $200.00 reward for its manufacturer or period advertising showing this piece.

Possible repurposed machine gun cartridge feedbox slide. Working on exact part name and manufacturer. These parts along with the connecting rod, flywheels gives the blade its up/down action.

machined slide bar that holds blade. those screws are "rch" smaller that no. 6-40. hoping this helps identifying the weapon this assembly came from.

You might want to take a look at Martin Donnelly's July sale, he is advertising a huge collection of treadle machines, maybe you can find one like yours that he has identified. If you need additional pictures from Martin I'm sure he would be willing to get them for you.
