Title: BAHCO Pipe Wrenches
Post by: Danks on July 31, 2018, 05:53:19 AM
Some photographs of recent purchase:-  A Universal Pipe Wrench (Pat'd 1888) by J.P.Johansson (BAHCO fame) ENKOPINGS MEK. VERKSTAD SWEEDEN.
I have been unable to get an accurate date on this wrench beyond the period 1892 to 1910.

The lower photo is similar to the Footprint wrenches in Great Britain.

Nice.   Are those rivets in the lower jaw on that last style?

Yes p_toad they are rivets, there is an insert that is between the folded sides and secured by the rivets (if that makes sense).
See photos attached.
Cheers
