We used to have a friend who referred to the period we are now entering as "Daylight Losing Time." Certainly, I'll be losing some daylight (and brain cells) changing all the clocks, hoping I don't forget the various programmable thermostats this year.

I have heard it called "Daylight Wasted Time" !
