When I saw the first picture, I thought it was a plumbing tool for packing oakum in cast iron pipe joints. In the second picture I see it has a V shape to it. Any makers name on it ? Maybe some kind of a masons tool. Maybe a tool for cleaning the hooves of reindeer ?

No, no markings of any kind-only clue when I picked it up was that the po did some sheet metal work-like Heating & cooling and was over 100 when he passed recently!
