Title: S-K Wayne 3/8" flex/swivel head ratchet.
Post by: coolford on March 31, 2019, 04:23:31 PM
Picked this ratchet up yesterday at an auction.  I have a similar S-K ratchet and have been using it, but apparently this one is much less common.  Not too many ratchets out there where the head swivels 360 degrees.  Didn't pay much for it as everyone was interested in the Snap-on tools.

That looks like a goody. My dad the mechanic was a loyal S-K guy. But I don't ever recall seeing one of those in his tool box.

Hello, Coolford. That is a nice one!!!The ones that I have found are bent, or rusty, or need a rebuild. Regards, Lou

i worked with a guy years ago that had one. He stripped the teeth off of the moving pawl. He gave it to me and I didn't think about finding a repair kit or taking the parts out of a fixed handle ratchet. I just assumed it was un-fixable and tossed it in the dumpster. That was appox 35 years ago. I did buy a knockoff one at H.F. about a year ago. Works ok so far.
